ドキュメントタブ¶
Zettlrには複数のドキュメントを同時に開くためのタブ機能があります。If you work with more than one document regularly, you will certainly love this feature! All open tabs are saved when you quit the app, and they are restored upon start (if the files still exist, that is). This way they work pretty much like browser tabs.
Tab Behavior¶
There are two kinds of people: Those who like to have many tabs open at once, and those who don't. Zettlr pays tribute to both: In the preferences you can tell Zettlr to avoid opening new tabs if possible.
If you enable that setting, Zettlr will always attempt to close the currently active tab and replace it with a new one whenever you open a file. However, if the file in your active tab is edited and contains unsaved changes, Zettlr will still open a new file in a new tab. To force Zettlr to open a new tab regardless of this setting, simply click with your middle mouse button. If you are using a trackpad, the context menu allows you to open files in a new tab as well.
If you disable that setting, Zettlr will always open any new file in a new tab and never close your old ones.
You can close tabs either by clicking the "x"-icon or by clicking a tab with your middle mouse button.
The tab context menu¶
Every tab gives you some options for working with your tabs: You can either close the current tab, or you can close all tabs. You can also close every tab except the one you clicked.
